What is MTProto Proxy?

MTProto proxy is a specialized proxy protocol created by Telegram specifically for its own traffic. Unlike generic HTTP or SOCKS proxies, MTProto is designed from the ground up to carry Telegram data efficiently and securely.

Modern MTProto proxies use Fake TLS technology (secrets starting with ee or dd). Outwardly such traffic is indistinguishable from ordinary HTTPS requests to websites, which keeps the connection smooth and predictable in terms of speed.

The result: your Telegram connection stays private — your real IP address is hidden from servers, and the link works reliably on mobile and public networks.

How It Works on PROXYLEET

Our automated pipeline collects, validates, and delivers fresh MTProto proxies around the clock.

1

Collect

Our system continuously scans and aggregates MTProto proxy servers from across the internet, parsing every known format: tg:// links, t.me URLs, and raw connection strings.

2

Validate

Each proxy is TCP-pinged with a 3-second timeout to verify it's actually online. We check the secret format, measure latency, and only mark proxies as valid if they respond within 2000 ms.

3

Deliver

Valid proxies appear in your dashboard instantly. Every 15 minutes a recheck cycle removes dead servers and re-validates existing ones, so the list stays clean and current.

How to Connect

1

Get a proxy link

Purchase a PROXYLEET subscription and open the dashboard. You'll see a list of MTProto proxies with one-click connect links in this format:

tg://proxy?server=185.76.151.***&port=443&secret=ee94fc2b484af6e1e1c87e65...
2

Open in Telegram

Click the link or paste it into any browser. Telegram will open automatically and ask you to enable the proxy. Tap "Connect Proxy" — that's it.

3

You're connected

Telegram now routes all traffic through the MTProto proxy. A small shield icon appears in the chat list confirming the connection. Your messages are encrypted end-to-end as usual.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The public MTProto server list is free and needs no registration. Dedicated MTProto proxies are included in any PROXYLEET subscription at no extra cost.
No. Press «Connect» on any server and Telegram adds the proxy to its settings by itself.
New proxies are added hourly, and every existing one is re-validated every 15 minutes — dead servers are removed and latency is measured again.
dd secrets use obfuscation of Telegram traffic. ee secrets use Fake TLS, so the connection looks like ordinary HTTPS to a popular site. All modern formats are supported; in practice ee secrets give a smoother connection.
SOCKS5 is a generic proxy and works with any application. MTProto is Telegram's native protocol: it carries traffic in its own format, connects from a link in one click and usually holds a steadier connection on mobile networks.
Usually the server was just taken down or the link was copied incompletely. Pick another server from the list — each one was validated less than 15 minutes ago.
No. Telegram encrypts secret chats end-to-end and cloud chats client-to-server. The proxy only relays already-encrypted packets and cannot read messages, calls or media.
A VPN routes all device traffic through a tunnel and can slow other apps down. MTProto handles Telegram traffic only: faster, lighter and with no extra software to install.
The list is not tied to any country — you can connect from anywhere in the world. Distance to the server drives the speed, so pick the one with the lowest ping. If one server does not work, try another from the list.
