What is MTProto Proxy?

MTProto proxy is a specialized proxy protocol created by Telegram specifically for its own traffic. Unlike generic HTTP or SOCKS proxies, MTProto is designed from the ground up to carry Telegram data efficiently and securely.

Modern MTProto proxies use Fake TLS technology (secrets starting with ee or dd). This makes the traffic look like ordinary HTTPS requests to websites, making it virtually undetectable by deep packet inspection and network filters.

The result: your Telegram connection stays private and works reliably, even on heavily filtered networks.

How It Works on PROXYLEET

Our automated pipeline collects, validates, and delivers fresh MTProto proxies around the clock.

1

Collect

Our system continuously scans and aggregates MTProto proxy servers from across the internet, parsing every known format: tg:// links, t.me URLs, and raw connection strings.

2

Validate

Each proxy is TCP-pinged with a 3-second timeout to verify it's actually online. We check the secret format, measure latency, and only mark proxies as valid if they respond within 2000 ms.

3

Deliver

Valid proxies appear in your dashboard instantly. Every 15 minutes a recheck cycle removes dead servers and re-validates existing ones, so the list stays clean and current.

How to Connect

1

Get a proxy link

Purchase a PROXYLEET subscription and open the dashboard. You'll see a list of MTProto proxies with one-click connect links in this format:

tg://proxy?server=185.76.151.***&port=443&secret=ee94fc2b484af6e1e1c87e65...
2

Open in Telegram

Click the link or paste it into any browser. Telegram will open automatically and ask you to enable the proxy. Tap "Connect Proxy" — that's it.

3

You're connected

Telegram now routes all traffic through the MTProto proxy. A small shield icon appears in the chat list confirming the connection. Your messages are encrypted end-to-end as usual.

Frequently Asked Questions

MTProto proxies are included in every PROXYLEET subscription. Starting from just $1 for a day pass, you get access to all proxy types: HTTP, SOCKS, and MTProto. There is no separate charge for MTProto.
New proxies are added every hour. On top of that, every 15 minutes we re-validate all existing proxies — dead ones are removed, and latency is re-measured. The list you see is always fresh.
dd-prefix secrets use padded obfuscation to disguise Telegram traffic. ee-prefix secrets use Fake TLS — the traffic looks like a regular HTTPS connection to a popular website (e.g., google.com). Both methods make the proxy extremely difficult to detect and block by DPI firewalls. We support all modern secret formats.
No. Telegram uses end-to-end encryption for Secret Chats and client-server encryption for Cloud Chats. The MTProto proxy only transports already-encrypted packets — it cannot decrypt or read your messages, calls, or media.
A VPN routes all traffic from your device through a tunnel, which can slow down other apps. MTProto proxy only handles Telegram traffic, leaving everything else untouched. It's faster, lighter, and requires no additional software — just paste a link into Telegram.
MTProto proxies with ee-secrets (Fake TLS) work in the vast majority of countries where Telegram is restricted, including Iran, China, and Russia. Because the traffic mimics normal HTTPS, it bypasses most network filters. If one proxy doesn't work, simply try another from the list.
